Why something is unavailable when nobody booked it

Occupancy had exactly one source before this: confirmed bookings. A device out for repair, a room being painted and somebody on annual leave were all free as far as the slot picker was concerned, and the collision surfaced only when a human noticed.

Forwards-only by default — a screen full of last spring's maintenance buries the block stopping today's booking. Pass include_past for the history.
