Media
The workspace's media and file library (doc 60) β folders, visibility, direct uploads to object storage, versions, trash, and the per-channel table of what a file must look like to be sent.
Stage a library file for a public reply under a comment
The platform check (which kinds a reply may carry) runs on the reply itself, as with an uploaded file.

Files an agent, a saved reply or a flow sends over and over β the price
Add files to the library through the server
The original multipart upload, kept for compatibility and for clients that cannot PUT to object storage. New clients use the direct upload (`POST /api/media/uploads`). Requires `media.upload`.

What each channel will carry (bytes, formats, pixels)
The single table the picker reads (doc 60 Β§6). `enforced` lists what the server refuses on send (bytes and kind); `advisory` what the panel only warns about, because the sender converts much of it (HEIC to JPEG, video re-encoding on WhatsApp).

One action on many files
Each file is authorised on its own; a refusal is reported in `skipped` rather than failing the request.
Keep a conversation or contact attachment in the library
By reference β the library row points at the attachment's own object, no byte is copied. Requires `media.upload` and access to where the file came from.

Reserves a storage key and returns where the browser PUTs the bytes β

Finish a direct upload
The server checks what arrived: size equal to the announced size, type sniffed from the bytes, allowed and coherent with the announced type. Anything else is deleted and refused.
Signed upload target for media-library files on disks that cannot presign (development)
Only ever handed out by `POST /api/media/uploads`; the signature binds the key.

Move a file to the trash
Restorable for the retention window, then purged. A message that already carried the file keeps its own row and its bytes.
