The chasing list — who owes us, across everybody

/api/receivables

/api/contacts/{contact}/receivables answers "what does THIS person owe", which can only be asked once you know who to look at. This answers the question that comes first in a working day.

Oldest debt first — the chasing order. Only open instalments: a debt paid in full stops being chased the moment it is settled, without a nightly job noticing. overdue on each row is computed, never stored.

Never a SINGLE sum — the amounts are per currency and there is no exchange rate this system may invent. meta.totals carries one entry per currency instead, computed over the WHOLE filtered set rather than the page: a list of money with no sum is a list somebody adds up by hand.
