Decide who owns what
PUT/api/integrations/:provider/ownership
A domain owned by us closes every CRM write for it, whatever the per-operation switch says: two writers to one truth is what this setting exists to prevent, and a coarse deliberate statement beats a fine one.
A value of null UNMAKES a decision — an operator who set something by
mistake needs a way back to "not decided" rather than a choice between
two wrong answers.
A domain owned by the CRM is also read from the CRM (doc 43 §11): the quote list and the ledger stop answering with our rows and answer with theirs, live.
A handover the provider cannot honour is refused (422), whole
rather than partially applied. Giving a data class to a CRM that
publishes no such records does not move the truth over there, it moves it
nowhere — the screen that showed our rows shows an empty one while the
setting claims all is well. crm_readable on the GET says which domains
this provider could actually answer.

Updated.
One or more domains cannot be handed to this provider, and NOTHING was stored — not even the domains that were legal. An operator who ticked four boxes and got three would have to work out which one is missing from a screen that looks almost right.
