Dashboard
The Dashboard is the first page you see after signing in to the admin panel. It gives you an at-a-glance overview of your workspace for the current billing period — how many conversations need attention, how much messaging and AI activity you have had, and how big your audience and team are.
Opening the page
The Dashboard is the home of the admin panel: it opens automatically after
sign-in, and you can return to it any time from the sidebar or by going to /.
Every member of your workspace can see it — agents, supervisors, and
administrators alike. You only ever see your own workspace's figures.
The period
The numbers under Activity this period are measured per billing period —
a calendar month (in UTC). The current period is shown near the top of the page
(for example, Period: 2026-06). When a new month starts, the message and AI
counters reset to zero. Conversation, contact, and team counts are live totals,
not period-bound.
Conversations
These cards summarise where your conversations stand right now:
- Open, Pending, On hold — conversations by status. Together these are your active inbox.
- Unassigned — active conversations that no agent has picked up yet. A high number here means work is waiting.
- Needs a person — conversations nobody owns that are waiting for a person: a handover was requested, they are in the assignment queue, or they are open and no AI is answering them. These are the most time-sensitive. The card opens the inbox's Needs a person view, and the number is that list's length.
- Archived, Trash — closed and discarded conversations.
- Total — every conversation in the workspace, all statuses included (archived and trash too). Read the active inbox from Open + Pending + On hold rather than from this figure.
Activity this period
- Messages received — messages sent to you by visitors and customers.
- Messages sent — messages sent by your agents and the AI bot.
- AI replies — replies the AI assistant generated.
- AI tokens — the AI processing units those replies consumed.
These four figures come from the same meters as the Usage & quotas page, so they always agree.
Audience & team
- Contacts — the total number of people in your workspace.
- Agents — the total number of staff accounts. The smaller line shows how many are currently online.
The online count reflects each agent's self-reported availability, not a guaranteed live connection. It is a quick gauge of who is around, not an exact presence reading.
Realtime connection
The card at the bottom shows whether your browser is connected to the realtime service that delivers live updates (new messages, status changes). When connected, it also shows how many agents currently have the panel open. This is separate from the online agent count above — it reflects open browser tabs, not advertised availability.
