Workspaces

A workspace is one organisation's space in ConnectWiz — its conversations, contacts, team and settings. Your account can belong to several workspaces, and you can create new ones.

Choosing a workspace at sign-in

If your account belongs to more than one workspace, signing in shows a Choose a workspace screen after you enter your credentials. Select the workspace you want to open and you land in its dashboard.

If you belong to only one workspace, you go straight to the dashboard — there is no extra step.

Switching workspaces

Open the profile menu at the bottom of the sidebar. Under Workspaces you see your current workspace (marked with a check) and any others you belong to. Select another workspace to switch into it; the panel reloads with that workspace's data.

Renaming a workspace

The name in the switcher is the workspace name, and it is not the same thing as your business name:

Where you change itWho sees it
Workspace nameSettings → Workspace → Company, top of the pageYou and your team, in the switcher
Business namethe same page, under Business profileYour customers, and the AI assistant

When you sign up, both start out as the business name you typed — so for most people they stay identical and there is nothing to do. They are separate because one account can run more than one workspace for the same business, and "Acme" twice in the switcher tells you nothing; "Acme — Türkiye" and "Acme — Deutschland" do.

To change it, open Settings → Workspace → Company and edit Workspace name at the top, then choose Save workspace name. The switcher updates straight away. Renaming needs the same permission as editing the business profile, and it does not change any links — only the label.

Creating a new workspace

You can create a new workspace at any time:

  • from the Choose a workspace screen, select Create a new workspace, or
  • from the profile menu → Workspaces → Create workspace.

Enter a workspace name and choose a plan:

  • Free — created immediately, and you are switched into the new workspace.
  • A paid plan — you are taken to secure checkout to complete payment. The workspace becomes fully active once payment is confirmed.

You become the administrator and owner of any workspace you create.

One free workspace per account

Each account may own one free workspace. If you already own a free workspace and try to create another free one, you are asked to pick a paid plan instead. Owning a paid workspace does not change this — the limit is specifically on free workspaces.

Deleting a workspace

The owner can delete a workspace under Settings → Workspace → Company → Delete workspace. It closes at once and its data is permanently deleted 30 days later; until then the owner can restore it. Remaining credit and wallet balance are not refunded. See Deleting a workspace.
