idefix
Connect your idefix store and four things arrive in ConnectWiz:
- Product questions. What shoppers ask on your product pages lands under Comments, and you answer from there.
- Order questions. A question a buyer asks about one of their orders opens a conversation in the inbox, tied to that order.
- Orders and returns. They appear on the customer's contact card, and Wiz can use them to answer "where is my order?".
- The customer, on every channel. An idefix buyer is matched to the same person when they write to you on WhatsApp, by phone, or anywhere else.
idefix's seller API has no product reviews, no store ratings and no instant notifications (webhooks). Everything is fetched on a schedule, a few minutes apart. No integration can read reviews or ratings, ours included.
Before you start
- Plan. idefix is a premium channel. It is available on plans that include premium channels and uses one channel slot. See Plans and subscription.
- Your API details. In the idefix Seller Panel open Account
Information (Hesap Bilgilerim) → Integration Information
(Entegrasyon Bilgileri). You need three values:
- Seller ID (Satıcı ID) — shown on the page;
- API Key — shown on the page (click the eye icon);
- API Secret — idefix e-mailed it to your account's registered address when the key was created. It is not shown in the panel.
Do not press Yeni API Oluştur (Create new API) just to connect ConnectWiz. idefix does not say whether a new key cancels the old one. If your stock, invoice or cargo software uses the current key, a new one may stop it. Use the key and secret you already have. Only create a new key if you have none, and then update every tool that used the old one.
Connect
- Go to Settings → Channels → Add channel → idefix (product & order questions).
- Paste the Seller ID, API Key and API Secret.
- Under Import history choose none, 7, 30 or 90 days. History is imported quietly. It sends no notifications and Wiz does not answer it.
- Save. ConnectWiz checks the details with idefix before saving, and tells you
which one is wrong:
- "idefix does not recognise this Seller ID" — the Seller ID is wrong;
- "idefix did not accept this API Key and API Secret" — the Seller ID is right but the key or secret is not.
A store can be connected in one ConnectWiz workspace only. Connecting the same store twice is refused, so no question is answered from two places.
Product questions
New questions arrive within about five minutes, under Comments.
idefix does not tell integrations which product a question is about — only the product's name. So idefix questions are listed one by one, each labelled with its product name, not grouped under a product card.
| What idefix shows | What you see |
|---|---|
| No answer yet | The question is open. |
| Your answer is saved but not yet on the product page | Answer awaiting publication |
| Your answer is on the product page | Answer published |
| idefix flagged your answer for banned words | Banned words flagged, with the words. The question reopens so you can answer again. |
| idefix archived the question | Archived by idefix. It can no longer be answered. |
These states are read from what idefix sends. A status can take until the next check (up to 30 minutes) to change.
A question that already has an answer cannot be answered a second time from ConnectWiz. Hiding, liking or messaging the asker privately is not possible on idefix, so those buttons do not appear.
Order questions
When a buyer asks about an order in idefix ("Where is my parcel?"), a conversation opens in the inbox — one conversation per question. Its title is the topic idefix gives (for example Genel Soru) and the order number. The order details are shown beside the conversation.
You reply from the conversation as usual. Replies are text only: idefix does not accept files on an answer.
idefix gives integrations only the last message of each order question, not the whole history. ConnectWiz checks every three minutes and adds each new message it sees. If a buyer writes two messages between two checks, only the second one reaches ConnectWiz. The conversation always shows a note about this, and the question's state: Awaiting your answer or Answered. To read the full history, open the question in the idefix Seller Panel.
If someone answers the question in the idefix Seller Panel instead of ConnectWiz, the answer still appears in the conversation, marked as written in idefix.
Letting Wiz answer
By default Wiz writes a draft — for product questions and for order questions — and an agent reads it and sends it. You can let Wiz answer on its own: for product questions in the channel's comment AI settings, for order questions with the channel's AI switch.
Wiz never puts phone numbers, e-mail addresses, links or "write to us on WhatsApp" in an idefix answer. For order questions it uses the order's status, carrier and tracking number, and the tracking number is kept. An answer to an order question cannot be taken back, so an automatic reply that cannot be made safe is not sent; the conversation goes to an agent instead.
Orders and returns on the contact card
Once connected, ConnectWiz keeps a copy of your idefix orders and returns. Orders are refreshed every ten minutes and returns every fifteen.
On a contact's profile, the Orders tab shows:
- their idefix orders, with status, the carrier, the tracking link and the estimated delivery date;
- idefix returns, with each item's reason, the buyer's note and the date idefix approves it automatically.
When that person writes to you, Wiz knows their recent orders. Wiz is never given the street address, only the city.
What is not kept: idefix sends the buyer's Turkish ID number, tax number and your commission and earnings with every order. ConnectWiz discards them and never stores them.
One customer, every channel
ConnectWiz joins an idefix buyer to the same person on other channels:
- By phone number, automatically, using the delivery phone on idefix orders — when exactly one contact has that number.
- By the order question itself. An order question names its order, so the conversation is joined to the buyer of that order.
- By order number. On the contact's profile → Orders → Link an idefix
order and enter its number (idefix numbers look like
IDE642eabe9bd3b2). Wiz can do the same in a conversation after the customer confirms the last four digits of the order's phone number or the full name on the order. - Never by name alone, and never by e-mail: idefix shows sellers a masked
relay address (
…@idefixcustomer.com).
When ConnectWiz is not sure, it shows a Possible matches card on the contact's profile, the same way as for Trendyol.
Sync
Open the channel (Settings → Channels → idefix); the idefix connection card shows the last time product questions, order questions, orders and returns were fetched, the last error and which part it came from, and the progress of the history import. Sync now fetches everything immediately.
Replace the API key and secret
When idefix issues you a new key pair (the API secret arrives by e-mail), open the channel's Connection tab and use Replace the API key and secret: paste New API key and New API secret. Both are tried with idefix for the same Seller ID before they are saved. The channel keeps its questions, orders and settings.
Troubleshooting
| Symptom | Cause |
|---|---|
| "idefix does not recognise this Seller ID" | The Seller ID is wrong, or it is a test-system ID. Copy it again from Integration Information. |
| "idefix did not accept this API Key and API Secret" | The key or secret is wrong, or the key was replaced. Find the secret in the e-mail idefix sent when the key was created. On a connected channel, use Replace the API key and secret. |
| "already connected to another ConnectWiz workspace" | The store is connected elsewhere. Remove it there first. |
| A buyer's earlier message is missing in an order question | idefix shares only the latest message; see the note above. |
| A customer's orders don't show on their card | Their contact has no phone number, or a different one from the delivery number. Link the order by its number. |
